The 80s was especially a time when Robots and the like were really being pushed toward society ans look where we are now😮 Here's the back of'em.
Here's an example of how they work. As you see, their still in great condition.
Here is a cool Copyright. I've always looked for them as well as trademarks on My Action Figures as well as on anything else I have. I've done this ever since I was a youngster. This is how I learned things way long before the "almighty" Web was ever a thing. I learned who made what and when it was made. YouTube reviewers show these sometimes but they never focus on it which is such a mistake. Many of these "supposed experts" never tell you this. I'm no expert but I'm very experienced so I hope you heed My advice to look for those Copyrights & Trademarks on your collectables regardless of what they are because you'll be glad that you did😉
Here is a size comparison with My great Mail-Away G.I. Joe, Sgt. Slaughter😎
Now, continuing what I stated earlier, one day in around 1986/1987, My Mom took Me to Toy Chest. She usually took Me there in the 80s whenever we were out and about and/or when I wanted something. It was in South County right across the street from their competition, Toys"R"Us. She got Me many cool old toys from there. As a matter of a fact her along with My Grandma got Me many of Star Wars: POTF 1/ESB/ROTJ figures and I remember like it was yesterday walking up and down the aisle with all of that classic Star Wars goodness so look for a special showcase sometime in the near future! I also got some great Hasbro WWF & ToyBiz Marvel figures in 1990, 35 years ago this year before they went out of business. I mean it was such a fun and great store. Although it was similar like TRU, they were arguably better with even more & finer selections but sadly they went under. After My Mom got these great Marty Bendable Toy Robots, I remember playing & playing with them so much when I'd visit her at her & boyfriend Jasper's apartment. It was good times! So, I found a vintage Toy Chest Ad/Commercial on YT (always talk about and acknowledge those important places, people and times of your life) and this one is actually from the one I went to so many great times and it's from 1986 and by the way, I did have that Lite Brite long ago as well but have no clue where it is!
So that is all for now, more vintage action figures to come plus much more to be surprised about😄
